Getting Started

I'm new to Korean skincare. Where do I start? ๐Ÿค”

Welcome to the wonderful world of K-beauty! Start with our skin analysis quiz - it's like having a knowledgeable friend guide you through everything. I went from pizza-face to people asking about my highlighter when I'm actually makeup-free, so the process definitely works.

What's this 'glass skin' everyone's talking about? โœจ

Glass skin is when your skin is so smooth and radiant it literally looks like glass - that dewy, poreless look that makes you appear effortlessly healthy (even if you survive on coffee and three hours of sleep). It's not just Instagram hype - with the right routine, it's totally achievable!

How long before I see results? โฐ

I know we all want instant results (trust me, I get it), but good skin takes time. Most people see initial changes in 2-4 weeks, but real transformation happens around 6-8 weeks minimum. Think of it this way - you didn't get problematic skin overnight, so you can't fix it overnight either. Future you will definitely thank present you for the patience.

Products & Ingredients

Are your products really authentic Korean skincare? ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท

Absolutely! We source everything directly from Korea because I learned the hard way that counterfeit products are a nightmare (shoutout to that sketchy vitamin C serum that almost burned my face off). We have all the proper documentation and authentication, so you don't have to worry about getting knockoffs made in someone's garage.

I have sensitive skin. Will these products irritate me? ๐Ÿ˜ฐ

Korean skincare is generally very gentle, but please patch test everything! I don't care if it's the most gentle product ever - test it on your arm first. Our skin analysis quiz will help identify what won't irritate your skin, but everyone's skin is different. Start slowly and if something stings, stop using it immediately (trust me on this one).

What's the deal with snail mucin? Is it... gross? ๐ŸŒ

I totally get it - when I first heard about snail mucin I was like 'absolutely not!' But then I tried it and became a complete convert. It's not gross, I promise! They don't harm the snails (they just let them crawl on mesh and collect what they naturally secrete). The hydration is incredible - your skin will seriously thank you. Yes, it sounds weird, but so does putting cow milk on cereal and we all do that.

Can I use vitamin C and retinol together? ๐Ÿงช

Please don't! I tried this once and my skin literally peeled like a snake. Use vitamin C in the morning (for that glow) and retinol at night (for anti-aging benefits). They're both amazing separately, but together they're a chemical burn waiting to happen. Think of them like oil and water - better apart than together.

Routines & Usage

Do I really need a 10-step routine? ๐Ÿ˜…

Absolutely not! Whoever popularized that was clearly someone with way too much free time. I love skincare, but I also love sleep and my sanity. Start with cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF, then build from there. I have tons of products but don't use them all every day because that would be exhausting. Quality over quantity, always.

When should I do my skincare routine? ๐ŸŒ™

Morning = protect your face from the world (cleanser, vitamin C if you want, moisturizer, SPF). Night = repair the damage from the day (cleanser, double cleanse if you wore makeup, treatments, heavier moisturizer). Basically AM is like putting on armor and PM is like therapy for your face.

I'm breaking out more since starting. Is this normal? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Yes, this is likely purging and it's completely normal (though frustrating). Your skin is basically having a tantrum while adjusting to new products. It should improve in 4-6 weeks, but if it keeps getting worse after that, something isn't working and you should stop. I've been through purging hell myself - reach out if you're concerned!

Can I mix different brands together? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Absolutely! Skincare isn't monogamous. I use several different brands in my routine because I cherry-pick the best products from each. Just don't introduce everything at once or your skin will revolt (speaking from experience). Go slow, pay attention to how your skin reacts, and if something causes breakouts, toss it.

Orders & Shipping

How fast do you ship? I need my glow ASAP! ๐Ÿš€

I totally feel you! Waiting for skincare is pure torture, so we ship within 3 business days because I know the struggle. Standard shipping takes 5-7 days, but we have faster options if you're having a skin emergency. Just don't blame me when you refresh the tracking page 20 times a day (we've all been there).

My package hasn't arrived yet. Should I panic? ๐Ÿ“ฆ

First - take a deep breath! Check your tracking to see what's happening. Sometimes packages go on little adventures (thanks, shipping carriers). If it's been way longer than expected, email us at support@bare-plus.com and we'll track down your skincare like the detective work it requires. We don't leave our people hanging!

Do you ship internationally? ๐ŸŒ

We ship to some places but not everywhere yet (we're working on it!). If we don't ship to your location yet, don't give up hope - we're expanding faster than my skincare collection grows (which is saying something). Check our shipping page or reach out to us, maybe we can figure something out.

Fun Stuff

Why is Korean skincare so amazing? ๐Ÿ’ซ

Koreans have been perfecting skincare for generations and they're genuinely ahead of the game. They focus on preventing problems rather than fixing them after the fact (genius approach). Plus they use innovative ingredients that actually work and aren't afraid of layering hydration. They basically invented the glass skin concept and the rest of us are still catching up.

Will I become a skincare addict? ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

You probably already are if you're reading this! But is it really an addiction if it's making you look amazing? I have a whole mini fridge dedicated to skincare and zero regrets. There are definitely worse things to be obsessed with than having great skin.

My friends think I'm crazy for having 20 skincare products. Am I? ๐Ÿคช

Your friends are just jealous of your glass skin! When you're 50 and still getting ID'd while they're showing signs of neglect, who'll be laughing then? (Okay, that was a bit harsh, but you get the point). Having 20 products is totally normal... right? Please tell me it's normal.

Can men use these products too? ๐Ÿ‘จ

Of course! Skin is skin and everyone deserves to look good. Some of my guy friends have better skin than me because they actually stick to their routine (the audacity). Men who take care of their skin deserve all the praise. Glass skin doesn't discriminate!

Still have questions?

Just reach out! I love talking about skincare (probably too much) and I'm always happy to help.
